Brief Description: Visited Grand Rapids Technologies
Today I was passing through Grand Rapids, Mi for work and took a pit stop to visit Grand Rapids Technologies (GRT). Ben, the co-owner and founder, talked to me about their flat screen avionics, electronic flight information system (EFIS), auto pilot, remote mounted radio capability, etc. They have great equipment and make most of the components right in their shop. I will definately be considering their equipment in my panel. Their stuff is a little pricey compared to Dynon, but it appeared they have better systems and building their own components is a real plus.
I also met Kate Bosman who is their marketing person as is rebuilding an RV-3.
