Brief Description:  Rudder counter balance rib completed.

This morning I worked on finishing up the counterbalance rib for the rudder. I ordered a #10 dimple die set from Cleaveland Aircraft Tools for the two 10-32 screws that hold the lead weight to the rib. I dimpled the rib and then riveted it in place to the spar. The weight was then attached with the machine screws and torqued the nylock nuts to 25 in-lbs. The screw heads are nice and flush with the bottom of the rib.

The next step was to cleco the skins back on to the spar at which time I needed to leave for work. The rudder is coming along kind of slow, but it is looking good and should turn out nice.
