Not much for progress this weekend other than a trip to Menard's to buy material for the work bench. I cut some of the lumber to size on Sunday evening and hope to work on it a few times during the week.
It was Justine's birthday and Father's Day as well this weekend. Justine had some friends over and I took the boys fishing Sunday morning. We then hooked up with my friend Tim and his son Vince to do some target shooting around mid-day. Vince just graduated from high school and is heading off to the Army for basic training in a couple weeks. He hasn't had much experience with fire arms so I took him to the range to get a taste of what is to come. We shot a variety of weapons and he did real well. Several of the guys at the range thanked him for his service and he even got to shoot an AR-15 which is a civilian version of the M-16. He did real well and was pretty pumped up about the experience. Good luck Vince and God bless.
