Tonight, I ran the 8-32 tap through some of the nutplates for the cabin covers. They are pretty flimsy and the screw driver was striping some of the screw heads because I couldn't push on them very hard without deflecting the thin sluminum.
I then put the covers in to final test fit and they look good. I'm really happy with the cockpit color (Rustoleum nickle satin). I'm thinking blue seats with white trim would look pretty sharp.
The next step in the manual is to bolt on the wings and set angle of incidence, etc. I need to build a yard shed to get all the bikes, shovels, lawn mower, etc out of the shop. I will then rotate the fuse 90 degrees so it faces north and rearrange the shop so I can mount the wings.
