Tonight, I finished the flap actuator installation. I used Diane's car battery to move the actuator to each end stop, measured travel distance, divided by two, and moved it to the midpoint. I then riveted and bolted each end per the plans.
It was another mini-milestone to put power to a component and have it move. The flap motor sounds just like the Cessna's I fly and was nice to hear this familiar sound coming from my airplane.
