Brief Description: Mounted rudder and brake assy in fuselage
The first thing I did today was to clamp the rudder pedal assembly in the fuselage with Tanners help and match drill the UHMW block holes to the longeron angle. I then moved the assembly in 3/4" increments and drilled three more sets of holes for a total of four adjustable locations for the rudder pedals depending on where I like them when I start flying.
Next, I trimmed the F-6118 rudder pedal brace and then clamped it in position. I drilled mounting holes to the firewall angle F-601. I then match drilled holes in the support angle in the four adjustable pedal locations.
After all the fitting and drilling, I removed the assembly and will put it in storage for now. This is another mini-milestone that has taken a long time to complete, but it turned out very nice.
