I finished riveting the cover support ribs and web stiffeners to the F-704A. Next, I made the F-904J spacers (2). Cut them with the bandsaw to just over 1-7/16" and then chucked them in the drill press and used a file to take them down to final size and to square the ends. I then bolted both halves of the F-704 bulkhead loosely together. I will need to make the spacers for the ends of the bulkhead next time. Hopefully my friend Roger still has the ones he made up and I can use his.
Tanner thought I needed more airplane stuff in the shop so we hung his model P-40 and P-51 from the ceiling for decoration. He thinks they look good.
