Brief Description: Started match drilling fire wall.....
Today I worked off and on fabbing the F-601P spacers and F-601E stiffener. I deburred the fire wall stiffeners, spacers, and weldments. The F-601J-L/R were then both match drilled. Next, the fire wall recess was clecoed in place and match drilled. It leaves room for the oil filter and propeller governor on the engine side fo the fire wall.
I couldn't find the F-601TD brake line bracket and it wasn't listed on the packing list from Van's. I will need to give them a call.
The last thing I did was to cleco everything together and started match drilling.
Vern and his grandson Nicolas stopped by to visit the project. Nicolas is twelve and has an interest in airplanes.
