Brief Description: Right Wing - Spar Extension & Cap Edge Distance
I replaced the right wing spar extension with a new part. Also there was an issue with some pilot holes in the bottom skin out board spar cap rivet line. The pilot hole center edge distance was under the 1.5D spec for the final A5 rivet size. I had determined that if I drilled the #20 (A5 Rivet) hole off center using the edge fo the pilot hole as a guide I could produce a round hole at A5 rivet size with more than the required 1.5D edge distance. I confirmed this approach with Zenith Tech support who were very helpful.
So I built a hole center moving tool and drilled the 11 offending holes with the center moved away from the spar cap edge. It all worked out OK and the holes are round and edge distance is now within spec.
