The rudder was already built when I purchased this kit. So I wanted to go over it and check that it was built to specification and note anything that I needed to look into regarding the rudders construction. So I reviewed the plans and checked dimension, rivet spcing and edge distances. I have a usb boroscope camer which I used to inspect the internals and check edge distance on the rib flages.
The rudder checked out pretty well. There where two extra holes drilled in error I am guessing behind the top mount hing. A nice modification to the top to add a wooden tip to the rudder.
