The 4.5 hours actually spanned 4 work days and was the first real opportunity to develop any consistent riveting skill. I had to drill out 3 rivets which didn't seat properly due to my poor technique. I discovered that rivet tape really makes a difference in the overall quality of the work, as it provides a slight amount of friction which helps to keep the rivet gun from jumping all over the place. It also prevents the unsightly black marks which were present for the leading edge center ribs. Had to go over several in a second pass to pound them into a more "standard" shop head configuration.
