It's hard to make out in the picture, but two avionics shelves were fabricated above the rudder pedals. Nut plates were used for easy access, and .060 aluminum was used so that avionics can sit on and be hung under, effectively doubling the ability to remote mount avionics behind the instrument sub panel above the rudder pedals.
