I can't believe it! I made the happy mistake of getting a "free ride" in a Vans RV-9A are got hooked. I was able to purchase an unfinished kit and start down this journey. While I am enjoying my Savannah S, my wife and I really want to travel cross country, so what's better than a RV-9A? I am the third builder for the Quick Build kit where was originally begun in April of 2005. Lord willing, I will be the builder to actually finish and fly this beautiful bird. After finding this kit on Vans online forums, my new friend flew me to Houston to inspect the kit, then we loaded everything up in a Uhaul truck and brought it all home. 2 hour flight down, 10 hour drive home.
