More trimming, fitting, and checking. Got the inside braces fitted and match drilled... slooooowly and carefully drilled through the plexi and into the frame. Then conter sunk and deburred each hole in the plexi. Then sanded, smoothed, and rounded all the plexi edges. There is an incredible amount of time in the prep work. The sliding canopy has got to be about the coolest (literally when taxiing in hot summer time ops) thing around, but the prep time involved is impressive.
