Wow, I got to check another category!!! Hello Avionics!! Not counting all the time reading and designing my electrical system, the installation is going well. I mounted the transponder to my avionics shelf, along with my VPX. The VPX is an electronic bus bar / circuit breaker system which will controll my entire electrical system... it talks to my EFIS giving me the ability to set alarms, limits, and a very detailed view. I'll also install a backup bus to provide power to my essential avionics in the extremely rare case of a total VPX failure. Now I've got a LOT of reading and wiring to do...
