Brief Description:  Painted Cowl parts

Well... life has really changed, gotten in the way, etc in the last couple of months.... After getting through the holidays it sure feels good to make some progress again! One thing about Texas weather, it may by 29 degrees and snow and ice, but in a day or two it can be 65 degrees and good painting weather :-) I think I counted eleven parts in total for the engine cowling? I got all the parts painted and ready to install, I can't wait to have the front of the bird all sealed up. I still have to finish the blasted cabin heat shroud, then I can install the cowl seals and the cowling. Then it will be time to finish the odds and ends in the cockpit like flight stick microswitch wiring for the radio, electric trim, and autopilot, then finalize the minor details for instrument wiring. I'll need to finish wiring the mic jacks, adjust the door latches, and wire the ELT and I should be about done with the cockpit. I need to take the struts off, paint them, and reinstall. That should be the last of the structural issues. Gotta keep making steady progress!
