Brief Description:  Throttle cable installation

It sure doesn't look like much, but its amazing how much time it takes to do things. Since this is an orginal engine installation, there is lots of head scratching and fabrication involved in things as simple as connecting the throttle cable. The carb had to be reversed, and a push-pull cable is looped around under the engine to preserve the dual throttle bar design. I had to design and fabricate a bracket to hold each end of the cable, one at the firewall and one in front of the carb. Works really well though, both ends are secure and safetied... I also shaped and drilled a flange to accept the 2.5" SKET tube that will come from the airbox (intake and carb heat mixer). The carb is pictured on the bench upside down with the flange and gasket secured prior to final installation. Once my mixture cable comes in, I'll have the engine mechanicals just about taken care of.... I still need to fabricate and route the carb heat muffs, cabin heat muffs, and cabin fresh air. And.... I should really get back to wiring soon...
