It sure takes time to carefully fit, trim, and fasten the new door sections. The lower doors are quite a bit larger and have most of the hardware so the matching upper door shouldn't take near as long to fit, trim, and install. Still, it sure feels good to be back to working with sheet metal ;-) I am definitely going to test fly this baby before I take the time to take everything off again for final fit, finish, and paint.
I made the doors larger so they carry back to fit the fuselage in a straight, streamlined manner. So far I much prefer the look!
