As I am preparing for the Airworthiness inspection of N691TX, I'm finishing up some final details. I really didn't like the gap left on the rear seal of the cabin top, seemed like a great place for water to ingress, so I whipped up a couple new pieces (I would have absolutely paniced at the thought of sheet metal part fabrication three years ago ;) test fit and painted the pieces for a final installation that I'm much happier about. I'll have to eventually add a pic of the final product.
I also fitted the door safety latches that ensure that the leading edge of the door cannot catch the wind and become damage. Eventually I think I'll design and install a three point latch system to ensure the rear edge is firmly seat against the seal, but the factory version will do fine until winter!
