Brief Description:  Electric Pitch Trim

Didn't burn any body parts, this time! For those of us who don't like to solder, this was even more tedious. I wired up and connected all the wires for the buttons in the flight stick. When I picked out which Ray Allen stick I wanted, I liked the idea of a whole bunch of cool little buttons... when it come time to wire them all... not so much! But, its all done and looks pretty good. I wired the electric pitch trim to the up and down switches (Only took me two tries to properly understand the wiring diagram ;) I wired the PTT switches on both the pilot and copilot side, and that left me with an autopilot connect/disconnect switch and a bonus switch that I left the wire ready behing the panel... maybe for a bomb drop toggle??? Once again the VPX is cool. It actually runs the electric flaps and trim, the switched merely tell it what you want. Do you want a different actuation speed? No problem, just change the setting with your laptop. Want different start/stop limits? Maybe designated positions like 10, 20, and 30 degree "notches?" Need to reverse the direction of travel because you wired it backwards? Want to have airspeed limitations? No problem, just change a few settings on the VPX. It's the coolest thing ever!
