Another step completed! I installed the distributor, set the timing, and fininished the wiring for the dual coils. This engine has dual ignition systems, an electronic system on one side of the distributor and a set of points on side B.
The coils are connected to an automatic switcher, so whichever one has power feeds the distributor. An a/b switch on the dash allows me to flip from one side of the ignition to another. I'll run on the electronic side unless the engine stumbles, the switch would then allow me to rapidly go to the back up side without delay.
