Brief Description:  Elevator painted

I still haven't figured out how to use a "painting rotisserie" so I have to either paint one side at a time or find a way to support it and flip it while painting. I applied the primer one side at a time, but primed both elevator and stabilizer at the same time. Then, I supported them with the saw horses close to the middle, leaving the tips free for the with paint while I could flip them over during the painting process. Once the tips were done, I taped off the trim line and masked the tips, moving the saw horses out to the very end to support the elevator while painting and again allowing me to flip it back and forth allowing both sides to be painted at the same time. I was very careful as I didn't have a lot on the saw horses, i sure didn't want it to slip off while painting!!! After the recommended four thin coats, I gave it a couple of hours, then carefully removed the masking material and the line tape, and voila... there it is!
