This is the part that's fun! After all the prep and masking off, I finally got to shoot some color. This read sure looks good to me, you should see it when its wet!! All went well, no drip, no runs, no errors... well mostly ;-) After the paint cured for 12 hours I stripped the masking off and installed the door handles because its cool! I'll leave the original film on the Lexan until the doors are permanently installed in the aircraft to have some protection from scratches will I temporarily stuff them in one of our extra bedrooms/aircraft part storage units.
Man I love saying "aircraft!" Especially because it is being manufactured by my own hands, its hard to describe how amazing that feels...
