Brief Description:  More parts to paint

Paint paint and more paint.... After building the doors it was time to paint some more, so... I dug the flaperons out and degreased and etched/scuffed the four flaperon sections and both doors. Then I played tetris trying to find places for everything to hand so I could prime them all. I have finally come to the conclusion that painting hanging parts isn't worth the time saving of painting one side, then waiting for it to cure, then masking off the paint and turning it over to pain the second side. The reason? Hanging parts swing around too much from the air pressure making smooth, consistent passes all but impossible. It's kinda like trying to paint a wind chime! Secondly, with my low skill/experience level painting vertical parts gives me NO margin for error between orange peel (too dry) and runs (too wet). Thirdly I don't have good low angle lighting so I really can see the paint going on which means I'm painting by braille, definitely not a recipe for success! Fortunately it was the much more forgiving primer coat....
