Finally, I'm getting the hang of this! This time the primer went on nice and flat. Instead of the grueling sanding work I had to do on the fuselage because I got it "lumpy," all I'll have to do now is scuff it with red scotch brite pads. I also primed the wing tips gray to allow some contrast when I paint the tips white. I've already learned how difficult it is to pain a white topcoat on a white primer base! Looks like I'll need to float and fill the wing tips to cover all the weave and pin hole. I am SO GLAD this is the only fiberglass on this plane, what a hassle!
