Brief Description: Installing Battery Box on Firewall
Before installing the Battery Box, lightening holes were made in the various surfaces using 7/8" hole punch. Two holes in the each side, three holes in the bottom, on on the top, and five in the front. High temperature silicone rubber was ordered from McMaster Carr the make a snug fit for the battery. The battery box assembly was then located on the firewall and the holes in the firewall were drilled and cleco's inserted.
