Just like the main landing gear mounts, I decided to strip the black powder coating off the engine mount. This was done using an extra strength paint stripper, but it was still a pain. Once all the paint was stripped, a light sanding was done and then the part was wiped down with Acetone. Finally a coating of primer was applied and allowed to dry overnight.
