One side of the horizontal stabilizer was installed. First the skin was attached to the bottom side. This involved marking the rib centerlines and placing the skin on top. The marks are then located through the predrilled skins. Once this is done the skin is drilled/cleco'd/deburred/re-cleco'd and finally riveted. The end rib is left cleco'd until later so it can be removed. The skin is then bent over and the process is done over again. The use of straps (see photo) was used to pull the skin into place. The skin was drilled and cleco'd.
