I discovered another fit issue. The control rod between the control stick and elevator idler was hitting the autopilot servo before the physical stop. What I found was that the servo was mounted a little too high. In order to fix this problem a new brack was needed to lower the servo slightly. The new bracket was constructed, fitted, drilled. Finally the part was primed and allowed to dry.
