Felt was applied to the fuel tank according to plans. After looking at the Sonex LTD website on optional plans alterations it looks like the felt could be left of....oh well. I am planning on installing a Grand Rapids Technologies (GRT) EIS (Engine Information System). This instrument will monitor fuel level as well as fuel flow. Because of this, I pluged the two ports on the fuel tank used for a fuel sight gauge. The GRT fuel level probe was installed in the availble port. The Fuel Strainer and Fuel Cutoff Vavle with connecting hardware were installed. The last fuel fitting installed was the right angle fitting used for the overflow and vent near the fuel fill hole. Felt was applied to the fuel tank straps as well. The straps were installed in the longerons with the specified bolts/nuts. The tank was put in place but not fully installed.
