Brief Description:  Working on Nose Wheel and Rudder Controls

Worked on varous Rudder Pedal/Nose Wheel controls today. Assembled the Pushrod assembly, NSX-C02-04 from parts included in the kit. I had to remove the powder coat paint from the push rod to allow the parts to move feely. The SNX-C02-07, Retainer was located and drilled to size. The part was lubed up with grease, assembled as indicated in the plans. The bolt in the retainer was installed completing the Pushrod Assembly. Next moved onto the Rudder Pivot Blocks. The phenolic was cut to size and the holes for the bolts were drilled and temporary bolts were installed. The location of the large 1" holes was marked and all four holes were drilled on the drillpress using a 1" Forstner bit. This made a nice clean hole. The parts were then cleaned up on the belt sander completing the Pivot Block Assemblies. Finally, the left and right Cable Adjusters, SNX-C02-03L/R were rough cut from 0.190" aluminum. The parts wree slightly cleaned up on the belt sander.
