Brief Description:  Working on Wings Again

I got a lot of suggestions from various sources after my last attempt at getting the wings level, equal length and square. The best advice came from John Davis. Here is what he told me. 1. Install wings and BOLT together through 3 alignment holes, 2. Install rear spar carry through, 3. Make sure each wing are the same length.(tip to fuselage), 4. Set rear spar height, 5. Set wings level, 6. Verify that the wings are square, they should be close, but don't get too hung up on the 5/32", 7. Attach rear spar carry through parts, drill and cleco, 8. Remove Rear spar box, 9. Drill 1/4" hole rear to front, 10. Replace rear spar box, 11. Re-Drill 1/4" hole front to back, 12. Drill all remaining holes with progressively large bits from rear to front, making sure not to oblong /oval hole, 13. Done. This seemed straight forward and easy to understand. I bought some 1/4" bolts from Ace hardware and bolted the two wings together. the wings lengths were made equal and rear spar heights were set. After a little work the wings were brought into square. To end on a good note, I quite for the night!
