The 36" sheet metal brake that I ordered last week came in today. I was quickly able to bend the seat sling skin to the required shape. Once the skin was bent to shape, the three hinge halves were located and drilled. They were removed, deburred, re-installed, and finally riveted. The seat sling was placed into the forward fuselage and the hinge pins for the hinge halves at the bottom were installed, this locked the seat sling in place. The front hinge still needs to be drilled, as does the hinge at the top rear of the seat sling. Job for tomorrow.
