Some of the problems found during the first flight were addressed. First, more of the oil pan fins were filed off due to them hitting the cowl. Next the mixture cable was adjusted so that the mixture valve open a little more. The left flap was lowered by one full turn of the rod end turnbuckel to correct the heavy left wing. A ham radio antenna was added on the bottom of the fuselage. This will be used for both APRS (tracking) and debugging the radio noise problem. The radio noise problem was found to be a radiated and not conducted problem. With the antenna disconnected, there is no noise in the radio. Will try the new antenna on Flight #3.
