The Cowl was removed to start getting the firewall forward finished. The engine data plate was remove to be returned to Sonex for a new data plate that complies with the Light Sport requirements. Silicone baffling was added to the bottom of the oil cooler and also the the front to better seal the air path. The Prince P-Tip Propeller was re-installed and the prop bolts were torqued to the required values.
Other items completed: Pitot/Static lines were connected to the Grand Rapids EIS, The protective plastic was removed from the canopy and windscreen. The protective plastic was removed from the rudder an elevators. The custom made stick boot was checked for fit and it fit great....time to make the second one!
