I continued to work on the removable mixture control modification. The plates were created and nut plates were installed on the plate. Corresponding holes in the panel were drilled. All pieces were installed and tightened. Finally the mixture control was re-installed and it's nut was tightened. Now, whenever I want to remove the panel, all I have to do to remove the four screws holding the mixture control in an the panel will pull out around the mixture. Next I moved on to creating the blank to fill the hole under the EIS display. I beefed up the blank in order to install a RAM MOUNT ball for mounting a GPS or UMPC. I still need to drill the mounting holes.
