Four blocks of 3/4" thick phenolic were cut to 1-9/16" Square on the bandsaw. The sides were sanded smooth on the belt sander. 3/4" holes were drilled in the middle of eash with a forstner bit. Four 1/8" holes where drilled at each corner followed by a 1/2" deep 1/4" countersink hole. This was done four times on each phenolic block. A nylon bushing was installed in in each block and the retaining ring was snapped on to hold it in place. Plans page SNX-F26, which is next, was pulled out and the kit provided parts were set up for later inspection.
