Strips of high temperature silicone rubber were added to the battery tray to better support the battery. Next the two halves of the elevator push rod were drilled. This was done after the control stick were correctly placed and the elevator was placed in the full down position. The holes were pilot drilled and cleco'd. The holes were were drilled to final size. Finally, everything was disassembled, deburred and then all exposed metal was primed. The final work was to start looking at the pitch autopilot servo installation. TruTrak provided a stiffener/mounting plate, with one problem. The predrilled holes were not correctly drilled! I had to remake the plate with correct hole placement.
