The plans call for slipping the fiberglass tail tips between the skin and rib. I've decided to change this and make the tail tips removeable. I've added two aluminum stips (1"x8.5") to each side. This will act as a mounting surface for the tail tip. I will be using rivnuts to attach the tail tips.
