Today was spent working on the right main landing gear. Like the left wheel, the Sonex procedures were followed to assemble the wheel. The tires had to be deflated and the two wheel halves were seperated. ALL edges where the two halves mate were deburred. The wheels were re-assembled and bolts tightened. The axle spacer was cut such that the brake drum completely covers the brake pads, but not the backing plate. The bearings were packed with wheel bearing grease and the castle nut was tightened. A holes was drilled through the axle for the cotter pin. The cotter pin was installed completeing the right wheel.
