Had to disassemble the skeleton for the HS thismorning. I pulled it apart labeling where I thought would be appropriate so that I would be able to assemble easily. I primed all the parts ensuring a good 2 coats, sometimes 3, on all areas that will be touching other aluminum parts or where the rivets will be installed. Next I started to reassemble. Generally it came back together easily and I was able to begin riveting. Starting from the center of the rear spar and moving out to each side. some rivets on the Ribs were a little tricky and opted for the hand riveter so that I could get in close and flush. Lots of rivets. Extremely glad I invested in the pneumatic riveter. Once riveted together it is time to checkalignment one more time and fasten to the bench to get ready for the installation of the skin.
Deburred,Primed with Zinc-Chromate and have refitted together
Rivetted the HS skeleton together not including the 7h2-6 brackets they will be installed later
Clamped down the skeleton to the table to prepare for the skin
