Brief Description:  BUILDING HORZ STAB

I started my Panther project by building the horizantal stab first. Work bench was check for level, attached horz stab to frame work with 2 x 4 wooden blocks screwed down to work bench so cleco will not damage skins and double check for level.

Drilled top side of skins #40 aligning center line of ribs with pre puched holes in skins.

Flipped horz stab over and reattached frame work to 2 x 4 wooden blocks check for level then #40 drilled bottom side of horz skins using 2 x 2 clamped down to help pull skin down into place, Also used cleco clamps alone rear horz spar

Removed skins, debur skins and frame work, then dimple with DNQ dimple dies from Cleveland tool Co.

Cleco everything back together for final riveting.
