Made a paper template so I could cut alum to size photo #1 (looks like a egg). Kept trimming paper until everything fit good and tite. Then tranfered pattern to alum and cut as seen in picture #2 with KN filter installed. Used two 2 1/2" flanges, one for the filter and one for the scat hose. Installed assembly to cowling with four #8 platenuts and countersunk screws with tinnerman washers.
