Cut 13" circle from 3/8" plywood for spinner back plate flange position and mounted to backside of of prop hub using 3/8" bolts. This should give appox 1/4" gap between spinner back plate and cowling. Position lower cowling in place using clamps, front and back. Pic 1 Trimmed lower cowl to firewall and drilled and cleco in place along the sides. Then work the top cowl the same way, trim and fit. drilled and cleco sides starting in the front to push any slack out to the back. trim back if needed drill and cleco in place. Layed up four strips of 1" wide fibergalss cloth on top cowl back edge to bring cowling up to correct height with boot cowling. Layed up a couple layers on the cowl cheek side were needed. Good fit over all:)
