While the fuselage was level I decide to go ahead and install the empennage. Starting with the horz, I had to trim the bottom skin openning to clear the "L" hold down brackets. Once trimmed I able to sit horz down on the fuselage and clamp into postion. Check level and square to fuselage then drilled into L brackets #30 drill.
Picture #3 show Vertical spar were in hits bottom fuselage longerons. I trimmed vertical rear spar about 1/2" up to clear longerons rather than cut the longerons off.
