Brief Description: O2 Console - 2nd attempt using 2 part mold
It was very easy to produce the 2 halves using the 2 molds now. Access was very easy but releasing the parts was actually more challenging than in the old deep mold.
But there was serindipity at work here. In image 3 below, you can see that I put the two finished molded halves in the old 1 piece mold. The bottom was marked with a number of cutouts. Once they were made, the seam could be easily accessed and a strip or two of cloth resined in place to join the 2 halves into a finished console. Turns out the one piece mold was an ideal jig for assembling the 2 console halves. Joining RC fuselage halves was always a messy business but have this jig made it easy.
