Unpacked kit at Tech Center, Inventoried and organized Empennage parts with much assistance from Mike and Jacob. They discovered that the 4 elevator counter weights were actually 4 RV9 rudder counterbalance weights. They are very similar unless compared to the full size drawing in the plan or against the assembled elevator. Impossible for a new kit owner to detect at this point. These guys have a lot of experience.
