The thumb drive I received from Van's contained a "Fuselage Option" section that I do not have in the original plans. It includes some improvements to the way the firewall is built. I plan to institute most of these improvements in the effort to save weight and clean up how things are installed.
Since I am not building a 6A, the F-6101 (L & R) from the original kit are now scrap pieces. I drew out the dimensions for F-601Z. It is an Aux Fuel Pump Firewall Doubler as shown on Drawing 19_7. It requires .062 2024-T3 ALCLAD...which the (now scrap) F-6101 just so happens to be.
I'll use the metal shear at work to cut it out tomorrow.
