Spent the morning carefully measuring and drilling out the aluminum bar (F-611C) that will be mounted to the F-611 bulkhead. This attachment will later hold on the tail. So I took the time to make sure it was right.
Cut out notch in F-611 bulkhead and filed edges smooth. Still need to deburr and prep.
Drilled 5/8" holes in F-610 bulkhead to allow rudder cables to pass through.
Spent a decent amount of time coaxing the bulkheads into a shape that allowed them to lay flat without and bow. This will help later during final riveting.
Finished up today's work by drilling and clecoing F-607 and F-608 bulkheads as called for in Drawing 27.
F-611C is prepared to drill to F-611A bulkhead.
All holes drilled and aluminum bar clecoed in place.
Flycutter used to open lightening holes in F-609 bulkhead.
