I did not like the situation with the canopy hinges becoming an integral part of the airframe and wanted a way to access them for removal. I doubled the spline lower skin with 3/32 ply and T88.
I made washers with a locking tab to prevent the bolt heads from turning when inserted into the access holes . Washers where epoxied and small stainless screwws fixed them in place.
